Having been given the most incredible education through the Mount Barker Waldorf School (K-12) I feel an immense sense of drive to ensure the EP Waldorf school is born for our children, our community and our future. More than ever I feel the need to protect our children to allow them to become the human beings they were destined to be, through learning with their hands, mind and heart.

As a founding board member I feel a deep commitment to establish EP Waldorf Steiner School. I am passionate about Steiner education which was ignited when I attended Kindergarten in the Blue Mountains and Aroura Meander for grades R-3. I had the opportunity to gift Steiner education to my son, which was a beautiful experience for him. As treasurer, I keep all the money balls up in the air and serve EP Waldorf  School initiative with commitment, integrity and love. I look forward to sharing this unique school with my daughter currently homeschooled aged 7.

l first learned about Steiner Education after having my son in 2018.  The philosophies that create the backbone of this educational style are everything I hope to instill in my son as he develops.

 When I heard there was a Steiner Initiative being created in the community it was very exciting to know that I could possibly offer my son this option.  It wasn’t until recently that I felt the call to get even more involved which led me to my position on the board.  Being given this opportunity is something I take with great pride and am committed to seeing it through, lending a hand wherever I can along the way.

Before being privileged to become a mother,  I worked as a School Support Officer at our local primary school. I was fortunate to spend my last two years running a program that supported our students emotional understanding and gave space to nurture their needs, through developing their connection to self. 

I see the need for a space within our community that focuses on uniqueness and individuality in our children and one that celebrates this! 

I am wholeheartedly committed to the EP Waldorf School Initiatives growth and establishment. I am passionate about community and connections and I believe in the magic that comes from this.
